Bio: Christian Davies (aka 'sky') born in 1972 in North London. Son of founder and lead-guitarist of 'the Kinks', Dave Davies. Christian started off DJ'ing downtempo/ambient and trance music at a small late night coffee house in Los
Angeles playing for late night punters till the wee hours of the morning.
Now Christian is kicking off his DJ'ing in his hometown of London.
"My musical influences growing up was California folk/rock and late '60's
psychedelic rock. My taste in music is extremely broad ranging from Abba to
Zappa however the past years my musical passion has mainly revolved around
trance and ambient music. I am an avid dancer which is usually how I make my
choices of which tracks I like, by selecting music while dancing." When
Christian is not DJ'ing he is out promoting and dancing at psychedelic
trance events around London, making lunch for students at Wentworth Tutorial
College in Hendon, practicing massage therapy and continuing his mission of
saving humanity from self-annialation. "My most exciting thrill yet as a DJ
was playing in the chill-out room while Astrix was playing in the trance
room at Mass in Brixton. It was a sacred and special moment for me! Playing
at Glastonbury in the ID-Spiral chill-out area this year however may just
top that! Upcoming projects are more DJ'ing around town and working on
helping to produce tracks with my brother Russell (Abakus) and good mate
Kuba aswell as continuing to assist trance party organizers promote the best
