Nothing too fast, too noisy or too messy. Just filthy clean bassy beats emanating from the worlds of breakbeat, disco, electro, minimal, tech house, techno and progressive. No fluff, no favours... La creme de la creme ONLY!

David Rothenburg and Emily Burridge in the lounge - 25th June

David Rothenberg has been making jazz out of the rhythms and melodies of nature for years. He's played all over the world, been profiled on radio and TV, wrote the successful book WHY BIRDS SING which has been published in English, Italian, Spanish, and soon in Chinese and Korean. He uses the musicality of birds, insects, and whales to ground his musical explorations, and he's always looking for new ways to expand jazz into the sounds of the Earth.

"Bach, Burridge and into the Amazon"

A solo performance utilising new sampling technology in which Emily combines the dance suites of J.S.Bach with her own multi layered pieces.
She then invites the audiences into the Amazon by introducing her recordings of Tribal people and their environment...

The evening is hosted by the Whale of Time charity which will also host a creative workshop. More content to be announced!
