Dear Friends and Family
its been a long time since we wrote to you last and much has happened since
the summer of mud has come and gone and the autumn/winter period is already two synergy parties long!
what a ride...
some of you might already have heard the big news: we have been busy working on a new project called:
an actually physical venue in the very heart of Camden Town
click here to see directionswe have long been looking forward to really getting our teeth into a permanent location, an environment that we can shape with the love and effort we put into all of our other more transitory projects - well, its happening right now - and we are opening on the
15th of December - with a full week of amazing stuff going on!!!
the venue is small but will be super compact and multifunctioning. there will be a:
multimedia performance stageripe with projections and
creative offerings, sonic delicacies and mellow grooves - we will host
performances, spoken word, poetry, talks, presentations and lots lots
more!
awareness and outreach facility we aim to
inspire through our work, either through our food offerings or many of
the information on display throughout the venue. we work with NGOs and
Charities to promote their work, hosting talks, film screenings and
presentations
'visionary cuisine'
a term that expresses our
understanding of the benefits of healthy living and good nutrition -
our range will include super-foods, raw dishes, vegan choices and loads
more seriously tasty and all organic stuff!
'smart bar'
we will feature a truly groundbreaking smart drink collection,
sensatonic elixirs, potions and some rather switched on and as ever all
organic drinks and cocktails
kids space
so
that the parents can chill out, too! we have a small toys and fun area
for our little guests. Please be aware that you will always have to be
responsible for supervising your kids though!
the location is right on the corner of the famous camden lock and the venue offers stunning views over the canal and is on the High Street.
Camden town has long been in real need of a sophisticated chill space that promotes healthy living and alternative/electronic culture! Well, we are very excited to be able to provide this
the space will feature a custom build sound system by Element5, a high spec LED lighting installation, multiple projections and a few elegant lines we can assure you!
Also, we need help!!!
We are currently looking for enthusiastic peeps to help us with the promotion of the venue - and are organizing a week long campaign of street and door to door flyering.
